Dr. William Theodore received a BA from Harvard College and MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He trained in internal medicine at Roosevelt Hospital, and neurology at Mt Sinai Hospital in New York. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Epilepsy Medicine, Dr. Theodore performs clinical and translational research and provides care to patients with epilepsy at the NIH CC and is Professor of Neurology at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, USUHS, as well as a Visiting Professor at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia, for teaching and clinical research. He has been a consultant to the World Health and Pan American Health Organizations. He was Chair of the AAN Epilepsy Section and President of the American Epilepsy Society.
