Obtaining an NINDS grant can be a great asset for a research program but navigating the application process can be daunting. In our second webinar of the ongoing OPEN Stage webinar series, we will focus on how to apply with an emphasis on the advantages of studying fundamental neuroscience. Fundamental neuroscience is the study of the normal development, structure, and function of the nervous system and its study is a critical component of the NINDS mission. Investigator-initiated funding opportunities exist for applicants of all career stages, at both small and large research institutions. Program officers will also answer questions on funding opportunities and policies.
