Dr. Nasim Winchester Vahidi joined the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) Division of Translational Research (DTR) in 2021 as a Scientific Program Analyst. Prior to joining NINDS, she worked as a senior neural engineer and consultant at Grapheton BCI in San Diego, California. She earned double BSs in Electrical and Biomedical engineering from Shariati Technical University of Tehran, Iran and a Master's degree in Bioengineering (Bio-Micro devices) from San Diego state university. She has received her Ph.D. from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in neuroscience and medical devices. Following her graduate work, she conducted postdoctoral research in human cognition in the Neural engineering and translation labs at UCSD.
