Virtual Networking Events at Neuroscience 2021: Learn about new NINDS/NIA/NIEHS Environmental AD/ADRD Funding Opportunity

Environmental neuroscience is critical for understanding the complex etiologies of neurological diseases and disorders, and there is a need for more engagement of the neuroscience community. This virtual networking event will bring together researchers from diverse areas of neuroscience and provide them information on a new NIH funding opportunity entitled “Clinical Relevance of the Linkage between Environmental Toxicant Exposures and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.” It is intended to foster interdisciplinary research teams and prepare researchers for developing competitive applications. Attendees will learn about this new funding opportunity and have opportunities for networking among using breakout rooms and question and answer time with NIH Program Officers. Registrants do not need to be registered for SfN 2021 to attend this networking event.
