The Surgical Neurology Branch (SNB), with support from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) will hold the Edward H. Oldfield, M.D. Memorial Symposium on Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the NIH Building 60, Cloisters Lecture Hall.

The theme of this meeting is utilizing research to advance the understanding and care of neurological disorders and Cushing's disease. This special event will gather clinician-scientists and healthcare professionals in the fields of neurosurgery, endocrinology, neuro-oncology, and neuropathology and will consist of talks by scientific and medical colleagues and trainees of Dr. Edward H. Oldfield at the NIH and University of Virginia.  Talks will highlight Dr. Oldfield's impact on the care of patients with neurological and neuro-endocrinological diseases and describe new cutting-edge and scientifically high-quality clinical, translational, and basic science research.
