Curing coma is a challenge that is broadly defined by the goal to promote recovery of consciousness through early intervention and long-term support. The main objective of this conference is to bring together a diverse and multidisciplinary group of individuals (scientists, clinician-scientists, patient advocacy representatives, and industry partners) to optimize and accelerate the science of recovery of consciousness.

We will hold a two-day meeting Curing Coma: Challenging the Future of Research for Coma and Disorders of Consciousness on Sept 9-10 (10am-3pm EST) examining the research gaps and priorities for the treatment of Coma. The meeting is supported by NINDS and The Neurocritical Care Society.
