Ms. Karen Molina has a diverse background in Grants Management with approximately twenty years of experience. Prior to Ms. Molina joining NINDS in April 2019, she spent two years as a Grants Management Specialist with the National Institute on Aging. Karen worked as a with HHS, Administration for Community Living as well as her employment with the Department of Justice, Community Oriented Policing Services, where Ms. Molina served as Senior Grants Management Specialist and oversaw the Interoperable Communications and MORE Grant Programs. Karen began her grant career with Aspen Systems Corporation as an Information Specialist working with HUD grants. She was also employed at The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives where she was a Program Analyst for the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network.
Ms. Molina is a native to the area; from Olney, MD and a graduate from The American University. Karen enjoys working out and spending time with her dog, Rocco.
