Nathan Hedrick is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of California, San Diego. In the lab of Takaki Komiyama, his research seeks to use a novel combination of cutting-edge imaging and molecular tools to identify the specific circuit details of learning-related synapstic clusters, including the identities of synaptic inputs, allowing a detailed description of how information from different brain regions converge to encode new information over learning. He received his Ph.D. in neurobiology from Duke University, and earned his B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
