NINDS K99/R00 Awardee - May 2019

Lisa Boxer is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurobiology at Harvard University. Using mouse models and approaches to characterize immediate consequences of MeCP2 loss, her research in the lab of Dr. Michael Greenberg aims to investigate key neuronal activity-dependent components of MeCP2 function, thereby answering important, unresolved questions about MeCP2 and offering potentially decisive information for Rett syndrome research and treatment. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University and earned her B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
