Sherri Gollins joined the NINDS Clinical Trials Unit in January 2016 as the PTMS Liaison. Her role changed when the NIH HRPP program transitioned to one IRB protocol management system and PTMS was sunsetted. She currently serves the CTU as a Data Manager within the Data Management Office. In her role, Sherri provides user support for the NINDS database, CiSTAR. She also provides quality assurance protocol audits.
Ms. Gollins received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from The University of New Mexico. Prior to coming to the NIH, Ms. Gollins practiced dental hygiene in the private practice setting, in addition to many public health programs in the state of New Mexico. In 2001, Ms. Gollins joined the NIH/NIDCR where she provided patient care and research support for six years prior to transitioning into the field of Human Subjects Research Protection. Ms. Gollins served as an IRB protocol coordinator for the NIDDK/NIAMS IRB for four years before joining the NINDS Clinical Trials Unit.
