Jessica Corley (she/her) has served as a writer-editor at NINDS since 2017. Currently, Ms. Corley works within the Office of Neuroscience Communications and Engagement (ONCE) at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) at NIH. She leads the NINDS social media team, managing the institute’s presence on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, among other digital platforms. She creates daily content for each channel and implements strategies to effectively reach external stakeholders using digital properties.  

Before joining NINDS, Ms. Corley completed Peace Corps service in Belize as a Community Health Research Volunteer. She enjoyed working with partners to facilitate projects focused on the areas of maternal, neonatal and child health (MNCH) and non-communicable disease (NCD). She has over 10 years of combined experience in health care marketing, digital communication, and public health education.

Ms. Corley earned her Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2021. Her capstone project analyzed barriers to clinical trial enrolment. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2012 with a dual degree: Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies (Spanish language).
