Dr. Hsiao Yu (Christina) Fang is a Scientific Program Manager [C] in the NINDS Movement Disorders and Neurodegeneration Cluster. Dr. Fang provides scientific support for Accelerating Medicines Partnership® Parkinson's Disease (AMP PD), Parkinson’s Disease Biomarkers Program (PDBP), Parkinson's Disease Biospecimen Review Access Committee (PD BRAC), and other trans-NIH and interagency committees.

Dr. Fang earned her B.S. from National Tsing Hua University, and a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Cambridge. Under the guidance of Prof. Alfonso Martinez-Arias at Cambridge, she studied the role of Wingless and Notch signaling in the Drosophila midgut. She then joined the laboratory of Dr. Edward Giniger at NINDS as a postdoctoral fellow, where she used a novel 3D live imaging system to study neuronal growth.
