Giulia Bova graduated in 2013 from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Development, and later obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston. After teaching for several years in Boston, Giulia joined the Peace Corps and served as a TEFL instructor in Rwanda for two years, while working on community health projects during her service. In 2021, Giulia graduated from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies (JKSIS) at the University of Denver, with a Master’s degree in International Development, specializing in Global Health Affairs and Quantitative Analysis. Giulia was appointed as a targeted PMF at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) at NIH in 2021, where she currently works as a Program Specialist in the Office of Pain Policy and Planning (OPPP). Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersections of health equity, women's and reproductive health, data analysis, education.
