Brandi Fields is a Clinical Research Associate in the Office of Quality Assurance (QA) in the NINDS Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). In this role, she is responsible for performing Site Initiation Visits in addition to random and for-cause audits of protocols in accord with FDA regulations, ICH GCP and NIH policy. Ms. Fields also serves as the NINDS Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) Liaison; where she is responsible for tracking and monitoring of NINDS intramural DSMBs for regulatory compliance on behalf of the Clinical Director.

Prior to joining NINDS, Ms. Fields worked at NIAID in the Office of Regulatory Affairs as the Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, she was responsible for the development, implementation and regulatory compliance oversight for project work instructions, audits and study close outs.

Ms. Fields received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Georgia Southern University in 2007. She is a member of The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
