NINDS invites applications for millennium promise awards for the non-communicable chronic diseases research training program. This announcement is made together with 6 other NIH components.
Chronic non-communicable diseases are steadily increasing around the world, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This training program is designed to build capacity for future research in LMICs in the fields of cancer, cerebrovascular disease including stroke, lung disease, environmental and lifestyle factors including indoor air pollution, obesity, and genetics.
