Potential applicants for RFA-NS-08-002, Senator Paul D. Wellstone Muscular Dystrophy Cooperative Research Centers (U54), are strongly encouraged to discuss their plans with NIH program staff. The purpose of this Notice is to alert potential applicants to an opportunity to obtain a basic overview and to ask questions regarding the RFA. This opportunity is not intended to replace more detailed discussions that applicants may wish to have with program staff. Program staff from the NINDS, NIAMS, NICHD, and NHLBI will hold a briefing and a question/answer session on the key features of the RFA via conference call. The conference call will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007, between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
