Shuying Sun was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cellular Biology at the Ludwig Institute For Cancer Research Ltd. In the lab of Dr. Don Cleveland, Shuying investigated C9orf72-mediated pathogenesis of ALS/FTD and worked identify a disease-dependent molecular signature for use in therapeutic strategies. Shuying earned her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her B.S. in Biology from Shandong University. Currently, Dr. Sun is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University.
